Special PP7s
I, Viashino Cutthroat, take astoundingly great issue with the 23 JUL 2006 edit.
- Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with Viashino there, you just killed any reason to have multiple versions of the PP7. - nowhere
- That does me no good, plz explain? --Scott 00:20, 24 July 2006 (PDT)
- The whole idea behind the premium PP7s are they're progressively better. You expressed you didn't want Golden PP7 to be a semi-auto Golden Gun, like it is in Goldeneye 007. That's fine; it was never in MP to begin with, and as an LTK PP7 it's kinda goofy. Thus, the most logical approach is to make a series out of the three. The Geometric series makes each PP7 twice as strong as the previous. PP7 would be 50, Silver 100, and Gold 200 to the head. That would make a Gold PP7 headshot certainly lethal, but just really really strong to body or limb. If you wanted weaker than that, an arithmetic sequence would put Gold at 150. Not a guaranteed one hit kill to the head, which ruins its golden-ness, but still as powerful as Auto Shotgun without the spread. But anything less than that, and they're no longer premium weapons. What's the difference between Silver and Gold at 80 and 100? Not much. Golden is what Silver should be, and Silver is the safety-scissors version of Golden. The premium PP7s would be for custom-weapons matches anyway, so they should be distinct and special enough to warrant their slots. Viashino Cutthroat
- Have Silver and Golden PP7 damages been fixed? - Nowhere
- I haven't been put on weapons detail since the night I sent them to Scott and he twiddled them. Last weapons adjustment I heard about was trading the perfectly timed but exploitable Golden Gun into the reload-bugged but not exploitable Golden Gun. Viashino Cutthroat

Unsilenced PP7
Are we ever going to have an unsilenced pp7? I liked it more... I have no reason why, but I liked it more. - InvertedShadow
- That brings up a whole slew of questions with it though. Like how to implement it, seperate gun or toggle based? - Nowhere
- I'll tell you why you liked it more. It's more precise. They should be seperate guns, and toggle should be forgotten about. Looking at the weapon sets, Goldeneye specifically put DD44s (inaccurate) in weak weapon sets, such as ones with Klobb; put Silcenced PP7 in the medium powered sets; and put PP7 in the sets that had powerful weapons, like explosives, were even the weak gun needed to be good and thus you got the more accurate version of the pistol. The Weaponsmith Hath Spoken. If Scott just has to have toggle silencer, it should be put in the Q-device slot I proposed in the weapon spawn page. And please, no Silenced ZMG. I know the HUD icon has it wrong, but that's just silly, and it's very much Not Goldeneye. What's next? Silenced Shotgun? (Ignoring the exploit...) Viashino Cutthroat 22:57, 15 August 2006 (PDT)
