Janus Productions is the name given to all the 'machinima' style videos created by the Janus Syndicate. The videos are directed, edited, and recorded by Xanatos and the Janus Syndicate Members partake in the movies. Since Christmas of 2005, many videos have been created, the biggest ones being Lol Another Day 2 and Counter-Strife: Noob's Guide. A video entitled Jaws Frag Rampage was an entry to a contest on www.machinima.com and it won third place with a prize of $250 USD. A new video (currently unreleased) entitled Dirty Garry will be the first video made to include voiceovers as a means to accompany the plot and parody-driven movie.

Canonical
These videos were actual projects made by a large portion of Janus Syndicate members and multiple others. They are usually longer in length than other small projects referred to as non-canonical. Movies appear in the order of creation.

Info: The title was an idea by Uberdonut late in post production. He also did the editing for the gunbarrel and the Facility Backzone gas tank scene. Nickster was one of the many people who participated in-game and was a big fan of the video. The explosive barrel scene at the end had to be redone and Alpha 1.1 was released at this time, so it was the only scene done in the second release. Clips not seen in this video were later included in One Year.

Info: First major production, currently the longest video, and the first video edited with Sony Vegas. A third installment is currently a "no" due to lack of interest, needing new content, probable low viewcounts, and for the sake of not using the name for what could be a completely different video. Made the Janus Syndicate a known movie making group. Clips in the video were included in a machinima talk show entitled Trash Talk by the ILL clan. Info: First movie to use the Demo Playback Utility by hitting Shift + F2 while viewing a demo. Most popular and well known video with over 200,000 views, just on Google Video alone. Youtube and Gametrailers both have totaled around 22,000 views. The video surpassed Lol Another Day 2's four month viewcount in just two days. The idea for the movie originated by both Xanatos and Boris after reading through the article, showing it to the people who would soon be involved, (some, reading it for the first time in months or years) and discussing a movie adaptation. The article is well over 3 years old written for an old Half-Life: Counter-strike version but it still applied to Counter-strike Source. A director's commentary version is planned for a later date.

Info: First movie made entirely in Garrysmod with major voiceovers and an actual plot. It is a spoof of the 1970 movie Dirty Harry and the Garrysmod RP community. Uses the demo playback tool, demo smoother, source recorder, and fraps. Was showcased on The Garrysmod website.

These videos are not exactly regarded as Janus Productions but are created by the same group of people while the videos are usually spur-of-the-moment type deals or something of that sort.

Info: First actual video that involved the Janus Syndicate clan. Created in part to test a new build of FRAPS which is used to record the game footage. Started the tradition of recording in-game demos, and then playing the demos back and using FRAPS to record. No scenes were edited to give the illusion of no continuity, in other words, everything happened the way it seemed and it was not enhanced in the editing or demo process.
