Basic Information
The Automatic Shotgun fires semi-automatically with only little pause between shots. The weapon's damage is devestating, and this makes it the best close combat weapon with the possible exception of the Golden Gun. At ranges past close, the spread of the shotgun's pellets begin to take effect, becoming less accurate very rapidly.
Balance Problems
As of Beta 1.0, the Automatic Shotgun's abnormally long range present in the Alpha version has been toned down quite a bit. However, some players still argue that the range is still too great on the weapon, going so far as to dub it 'shotgun-sniping'. The weapon is subject to change with future releases.
